CONVENTION FEES:

TEACHERS/STUDIO OWNERS You may dance, observe and/or take notes in any class you wish but you must register as a teacher. You will not be allowed to register as an observer. THERE MUST BE AT LEAST ONE REGISTERED STUDIO OWNER/TEACHER PER STUDIO. If you choose to register as an independent you may do so but will be ineligible to receive scholarships of any kind. ASSISTANT TEACHERS Ages 15+, same rule as TEACHERS ...also eligible to audition for scholarships. Observers are allowed with registered students and must not be a studio owner, teacher or dancer. Observer passes will be sold at the registration table for $30. Please be courteous to your fellow dancers by keeping your dance bags and other belongings against the walls of the dance area. If you are in need of First Aid please tell a NTG staff member. Only water permitted in the theatre/ballrooms. No food at any time allowed. NTG and hotel facilities are not responsible for personal injury or property loss so please take care of yourself and your belongings at all times. *VIDEO TAPING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED AT ALL TIMES DURING THE CONVENTION…STILL PHOTOS ARE PERMITTED.* NTG wristbands/badges must be worn by all participants in the convention (teachers, assistant teachers, students, and observers).Anyone not wearing a wristband will not be allowed to enter the theatre/ballroom and will be required to pay full tuition to acquire a replacement. REGISTRATION FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.. No credits will be issued for pre-paid students/routines that do not attend or compete. Ensure your spot in classes by registering early! If maximum capacity is reached, registration will not be guaranteed upon arrival to the event. All registration forms must be submitted on official NTG registration forms (photocopies accepted) by mail. *If you are registered by the given deadline, you will receive a confirmation letter by email 5-10 business days before the convention along with a schedule of events. Any registrations received 2 weeks or less before an event WILL NOT be guaranteed a confirmation. Our registration desk will be set up one hour before the event begins. You may register at this time if space is available. Teachers who have pre-registered may pick up their convention packets at this time. *CONVENTION TUITION* Convention fees and registration must be postmarked 5 weeks before the convention to receive studio discounts. Please see registration deadline listed next to each city. Convention Discounts *Bring 6-12 students: FREE tuition for one teacher *Bring 13-26 students: FREE tuition for one teacher and 50% off one additional teacher *Bring 27-39 students: FREE tuition for two teachers *Bring 40+ students: FREE tuition for three teachers *Bring 65+ students: FREE tuition for four teachers ***All discounts are based on students paying full price ONLY, please do not count scholarship attendants. *Please be aware that you must attend ALL of your classes in order to win any of the scholarship awards. NTG staff will be observing students who are not in class & audition numbers will be recorded and given to NTG faculty at audition time. Four (4) single convention scholarships, dancer may attend any one (1) NTG regional convention free of tuition, within one year of issue.

One (1) L.A. Studio scholarship, dancer will receive 10 free classes to Edge PAC in Los Angeles, CA to be used within one year of issue date. One (1) NY Studio scholarship, dancer will receive 10 free classes to Broadway Dance Center in NYC tobe used within one year of issue date.

Pow! Titles

NTG POW! titles will be awarded
to dancers in each of the following age division at every regional event:
Mini 7-9 years
Junior 10-12 years
Teen 13-15 years
Senior 16-20 years
These dancers will be named by the NTG faculty and chosen on
their outstanding effort and performance in the convention portion of that
weekend.
Performer
Of The Weekend (POW!) title winners receive half off of National Convention
Tuition AND will be featured throughout NTG’s FINAL SHOW in New Orleans, June
27th-30th, 2011. In addition, POW! Title winners will be granted the privilege of
assisting one of our faculty members at any one regional city the following
season!

POW! TITLE WINNERS WILL RECEIVE A SPECIAL, CUSTOMIZED GIFT AT OUR FINAL EVENT*
“NTG EXPERIENCE” *The “NTG Experience” scholarship, one (1) outstanding dancer may be chosen to fly to Los Angeles (or location of job) and be a part of an actual professional dance job with LA-based entertainment company, Fusion Entertainment. Dancer will attend all rehearsals, serve as “acting assistant” on the job, and be allowed to attend main event with an opportunity to perform alongside working professionals if approved by choreographer. Truly an experience of a lifetime! *The “NTG Experience” may or may not be awarded in each regional city-this will be decided exclusively by NTG faculty and director.
